Learning Experiences that Awakening Metacognition
Why Awaken Metacognition?
When learners are involved in learning as a process, they become empowered. Engaging in deeper reflection helps learners to identify strengths and areas for growth. It is also significant for educators to be able to use student products to gauge what modifications learners may need and to improve instruction.
Even students at young ages can demonstrate what they’ve learned,
provide examples and share their learning with others. First grader Ani demonstrates what she has learned about concepts of motion and balance.
