Computer science as a content area increases opportunities to develop students’ technological literacy skills as well as computational thinking skills.
​Most elementary educators, however, do not have foundational computer science content knowledge, the technical skills of coding and computer science, and pedagogical skills and strategies to successfully integrate computer science.
To overcome these barriers, these are ten strategies I incorporated to successfully integrating a full K–6 computer science implementation.​​
